Company - History

Alcavis International, Inc. was incorporated in Maryland in January 1994 under the name Amuchina International, Inc.
It was eight years later on January 1st, 2002 that the name Alcavis International was adopted.

Amuchina International was the sister company of Amuchina S.p.A. located in Genova, Italy.
Amuchina S.p.A. and the Amuchina products lead the antisepsis and disinfectant market in Italy
and Europe.

Amuchina S.p.A. was established in 1939 and continues to be successful thanks to a proprietary technology to produce chlorine derivative products through partial electrolysis. The chlorine disinfectants produced in this way are more effective, safer and stable. Their applications range from antisepsis of burns, wounds or intact skin to the disinfection of medical devices and apparatuses, hemodialysis machines, sets, catheters, etc.

Being new to the American market, Amuchina International focused on developing a relationship with FDA and EPA and continues to work closely with the government agencies. The Plant, located near Genova Italy, follows the most stringent GMP's, is ISO 9000 certified, FDA approved and European Authorities approved.

Currently, Alcavis International operates in the U.S.
thanks to a network of distributors spread out through the country, as well as in Canada and Mexico.
