Alcavis 50 is the ideal
disinfectant for dialysis treatment, since it reduces
the required contact time to 2 minutes and it
is compatible with silicone and polyurethane
catheters, connectors and caps currently available on
the market.
Alcavis 50
is the clear, non-staining alternative to iodine in
disinfection.
Alcavis 50 is the non sensitizing and non irritating
disinfectant and is the perfect disinfectant
to carry out safely:
· preparation of central venous catheter (initiation
and discontinuation) in hemodialysis treatment;
· PD transfer set change;
· PD injection port disinfection.
The
way it behaves:
Hypochlorous acid
is similar in molecular size and structure
to water. Because of this, and the fact that
it has no electrical charge, hypochlorous
acid can easily cross the bacterial membrane,
resulting in the destruction of bacteria.
